PRK Surgery

Known as photorefractive keratectomy, PRK is the predecessor to LASIK eye surgery and remains a common type of laser vision correction. The main difference between the two types of surgery is that PRK doesn’t involve the creation of a corneal flap. Our eye clinic provides PRK surgery for qualified patients.

Binocular Vision Therapy

Binocular vision disorders cause both eyes to fail to work in unison. These disorders affect eye movement control, fine and gross motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. We typically prescribe therapy to improve vision problems that cannot be treated with contact lenses, glasses, lens implants, or laser vision correction. Patients are typically encouraged to attend two 30-minute sessions twice a week for four to five months. Our eye specialists will work with you to form the best plan for your needs.

Cataract Surgery

More than 94 million people across the globe suffer from cataracts. This common condition causes a natural clouding of the lens of the eye, resulting in blurred vision. Our eye surgeons perform this outpatient procedure that typically requires no stitches and lets you return home the same day. Find out if you’re a candidate by scheduling an appointment.

Corneal Eye Care

Our trained and experienced eye doctors can diagnose and treat a variety of corneal disorders such as corneal abrasion (caused by an injury to the surface of the cornea), conjunctivitis (inflammation of the membrane that covers the white of the eye), and keratoconus (a degenerative eye disorder that causes the cornea to become thin and cone-shaped).

Dry Eye Treatment

The Meibomian gland produces oils that comprise the outer layer of your tear film. This oily layer forms a protective coating that lets the middle layer function properly. When dysfunction of this gland occurs, the glands become blocked and prevent your eyes from secreting enough oil to coat the outer layer. As a result, friction forms between your eyelid and cornea. Our eye surgeons use LipiFlow to restore proper functioning tear film. Schedule an eye appointment to begin treatment for dry eye.

Eyelid Rejuvenation Surgery

Although part of the natural process of aging, eyelid bagginess and droopiness can be remedied. You can opt to undergo one of several procedures to reduce the appearance of baggy and droopy eyelids by having excess skin and fat from the upper and lower eyelids. This procedure, performed by our eye surgeons, is called an eye lift or blepharoplasty.
